Just Thinking....

Ok no picture this time, but I had to write this down because it really stuck out to me! So, I went to my boss's sons wedding and it was beautiful and great and lovely! All that stuff! But that's not what stuck out...I was going through the line and I got to my boss's husband and asked him "Can you believe your son is married!?" He is sooooo close with his son! They did about everything together! And he said... "Ya, I can. You know why? Because I've been there every step of the way. I didn't miss anything. So, yes I can believe he's married because it was the next step!"

OK! that's what stuck out! Isn't that such a great answer! On the way home I got a bit emotional (normal) thinking I want to be able to say the same thing about my kids! I just had to write that down so I wouldn't forget it! What a great reminder!

Holy Cow time flies! Bryans little sister Steph and her hubby Andrew just had their first baby on the 11th! Exactly 9 months after Cade was born...to the day! So, being the emotional person I am I reflected back on our special day! It was a long time coming and well worth the wait! All the anticipation, excitement and nerves all balled into one, and then when you see your little one for the first time there are no words to explain the way you feel! I LOVE Bryan so much! He was so awesome during the whole thing. I LOVE Cade so much! He is such a blessing to me and Bry. I LOVE being a mom! It's the best! I just had to write something down about how I was feeling because watching Steph and Andrew just brought back so many feelings and emotions! I'm so excited for those two! They are going to be great parents!

Family Fun!

Tonight my family got together to celebrate a few birthdays and it was so much fun! We had a very tasty dinner provided by Grill Master, Justin (aka brother) and Food Network Next Big Star, Aimee Jo! Seriously they know how to put a great meal together...those two! Then the kids went downstairs and the adults played the newlywed game...kinda, and it was hilarious! At one point my parents said "I'm sure you didn't want to know that about your parents!" So you know it was a good time had by all! Thanks family for a fun night! Anyway, I promised myself I would post something today so here it is! I still need to catch up on a whole lot but that will probably come when Bry is fishing! So this will have to do for now!
