*Not too much happened because we just got home from vacation that morning so we just layed low all day and loved every second*
Didn't take long to figure out the whistles.....they aren't too bad!
He wanted the puppy to have a chance to blow the whistle............he still loves that puppy and sometimes has to have him in bed with him, or he will put puppy to bed first. It's cute the things he comes up with!
It wasn't much, but just enough! He was so cute the rest of the day because he would NOT let me out of his sight. We just go back from a 8 day cruise the morning of Valentines and Grandmas and Grandpas said he did really good while we were gone. It made me so proud, but I'll admit I LOVED that he wanted me the whole day. He wanted me to play and to hold and to love him. I soaked it all up! It was cute he would put both his hands softly on my cheeks and just look at me like "its really you". Melted my heart. I love him so much and am thankful for BOTH of my Valentines!
ST. PATRICKS DAY!
*well, at least we wore GREEN!*
Cade's poor nose! I honestly can't remember how he got it.....falling down the stairs, outside on the rocks, halt! I think I do remember! I really think he fell down the stairs at the Sargents house. Its not as bad as it sounds....in their garage the last step is a little steeper than the rest and he was trying to be big and follow daddy out there and kerplunk! But he still looks cute...scabs and all!
*look what happens when i remember my camera!*
The green basket is full of leis (hawaiin leis) and is basically for decoration. I used it for primary and the leis were the "grass" for my eggs.
Check out his cute cowboy boots! my mom gave them to us before Cade was even born, she HAD to buy something! :) They still are a little too big, but Cade loves to wear them!
Had to say Hi to Puddy (the goat) and the "mama horsey" before we went to church.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Aunt Connies!
Cade didn't care how many eggs he got. In fact I think he got 3 by the time all the other kids gathered them up. He would pick one up, open it and eat the candy inside before he moved on for another. He didn't really grasp the concept of it all, but had lots of fun and loved the treats!
I just want to say how much I LOVE my life! Sure there are days that totally, well, SUCK! and I feel like the worst mom and wife ever but man! I wouldn't change it for the world. Things that I love and are grateful for:
*A loving, hard-working husband who take his job as a Husband, Provider, Father, and Protector very seriously. (and he's REALLY good at them all too!)
*A work-in-progress house that we live in that keeps us warm when its cold and cool when its hot. And SAFE.
* JOBS! I'm so grateful to Bryan for going to school and being so successful at what he does! He is such a hard worker and doesn't just do enough to get by, he definetly goes the extra mile! And my job is the best! I'm so grateful that I can work and still be a mom!
*CADE! I can't even express how much I love my son. He is the cutest, funnest, funnIest, smartest :), BEST 20 month old ever. I am so blessed to be his mom and my days are full of lots of laughter, crying, ups and downs, new experiences, loves and kisses, dirty diapers, time-outs,
and fullfillment knowing I'm right where I'm suppose to be!
and fullfillment knowing I'm right where I'm suppose to be!
*The gospel. I know I'm not the perfect member of the church, but I'm doing my best and that's all I can do! I know that just by doing that, I have received so many blessings!
*Idaho! I know it's crazy and most would disagree with the weather we've had but I love living in Idaho! I wouldn't want to live anywhere else! And as far as the weather goes, we have it GOOD compared to most places right now, so no complaints here!
*Family. I am so blessed to have both of our families so close! They all have been so willing to help with Cade and I wouldn't want him anywhere else (if he can't be with me) than with family! He is so blessed to have a close relationship with so many family members. WE are so blessed to have our family near and so helpful. It's one of those blessings you can never be too thankful for! Thanks family!
